YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy

Effective October 5, 2026

Parcelwise helps contractors research property and permit records and organize their follow-ups. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, use the service or contact us.

For questions or a privacy request, email ferrari.francesco.m@gmail.com. You do not need a paid account to contact us.

Information we collect

Public property and business records

We obtain property addresses, parcel numbers, permit history, building information and map locations from public agencies and other published sources. We use these records to make property lists, rankings and research tools, including downloads for subscribers. Property information can relate to an identifiable person even when their name is absent.

Our property-record imports exclude homeowner names, personal phone numbers and personal email addresses. Separately, business-contact listings may include published business contact details and links to their sources. These are not a homeowner contact database. See how the lists work and our data sources for more context.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide property research, save your work, manage subscriptions and download limits, process support and refund requests, correct errors, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We also use records of problems and service use to maintain and improve the service.

Contacts you add are for your workspace. Parcelwise does not verify their permission or find additional personal contact details for them. Email introductions open in your own email app for review and sending; Parcelwise does not send or track those messages.

When information is shared

Other authorized members of your workspace can access shared workspace information. We do not make your private notes or uploaded contacts available to other customers. Public property records and related rankings are part of the research service we provide to customers, including paid subscribers.

Providers process information needed to operate their part of the service: Railway for hosting and databases; Stripe for payments, subscriptions and fraud prevention; Google for optional sign-in and our support email; Resend for account emails when enabled; Sentry for error reporting when enabled; and the public map provider OpenFreeMap when you load maps. Map requests can reveal your IP address and the map area being viewed. A print or mailing provider receives the addresses and campaign materials needed to fulfill a mailing you approve, if that service is offered.

Providers also describe their own practices in their privacy notices, including Stripe and Google. We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect people and enforce our terms.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect sign-in flows. Blocking them may prevent account features from working. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising on Parcelwise. The site does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Payment and sign-in providers may use their own cookies when you use their services.

Retention and security

We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service, and retain relevant records as needed for billing, disputes, security and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and why it is held. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or saved work. You can request deletion by email; we will explain any information we need to retain. Property-suppression records are kept to prevent removed properties from being added back to our lists. Backup copies may remain until they are replaced or expire.

We use HTTPS for the hosted service, account access controls and restricted workspace access. No service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Your choices and privacy requests

Email ferrari.francesco.m@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to ask about its use or disclosure. Depending on applicable law, including California law where it applies, you may have additional rights to receive a copy of your information, opt out of certain sales or sharing, or limit certain uses of sensitive information. Use the same contact to exercise those rights or ask an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Tell us what you are requesting and the account email or property reference that will help us find the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity or an agent’s authority before disclosing or deleting information. Do not send passwords or full card details. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

To request exclusion of a property from future Parcelwise lists and mailings, use Remove my property. The form does not require an account or homeowner contact details. If it cannot match your property, contact support. Removal from Parcelwise does not change the original government record or recall records already downloaded or mail already submitted for delivery.

Children

Parcelwise is a business service intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect account information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

Changes and contact

We will post policy updates here and change the effective date. For material changes, we will provide an additional notice through the service or by email where required. Visit our support page or email ferrari.francesco.m@gmail.com with questions. Subscription cancellation and refunds are described in our cancellation and refund policy.
